Heal Ukraine

At KAIVALYA, we deeply value mental health and well-being, especially among vulnerable groups facing challenging circumstances. Therefore, in response to the ongoing war in Ukraine, in 2023, we have developed The "Heal Ukraine" Program to support Ukrainian refugees affected by the invasion. Through this initiative, we strive to provide essential mental health resources and support to alleviate the psychological impact of war and traumatic events.

This program can be adapted to the needs of different communities in response to their specific challenges and we actively invite individuals and organizations to participate and collaborate on this project.

How It Works

The "Heal Ukraine" Program is meticulously designed to cater to the diverse needs of
our participants in terms of mental health and self-development. We offer to participants
a range of techniques and instruments both, in-person in Brussels and online,
to make this transformative journey possible for everyone all over the world.

What Do We Offer

At the heart of The "Heal Ukraine" Program lies a visionary approach to holistic healing of
mental and physical states as well as empowerment. All of this is implemented with the help of:

Mental Health Education

We carefully gather information and resources dedicated to self-development and holistic well-being, including resilience in the face of adversity. We aim to advocate for mental health, offering practitioners a set of techniques, instruments, and educative materials to choose the most convenient ones. We also work towards more awareness regarding the importance of mental health and reducing the general stigma of the topic.

Yoga Studio

Yoga Nidra

Sometimes referred to as "yogic sleep", Yoga Nidra is a powerful relaxation and meditation technique known for its numerous benefits, including stress reduction, improved sleep quality, increased self-awareness, enhanced creativity, and deep relaxation. It is usually practiced in a relaxed yoga position, called “Shavasana” (corps pose), where practitioners lie down
on a yoga mate with their eyes closed and their breathing slowed down.

Our coaches offer a variety of approaches and methods, as taught by mainstream psychological schools, to understand ones mental state and processes, as well as behavioral patterns. In particular, we strive to deliver the best scientifically proven methods to cope with trauma and stress, at times combining it with other instruments for better and more effective results (see them below).

Thetahealing

By using the meditative (theta) state, thetahealing works with our subconscious mind and helps to work through subconscious automatic beliefs and programs that separate us from the life we want. The main tool used in thetahealing is the “deep digging” technique that helps to find basic conviction, which is the root of a negative state or a problematic circumstance, release it, and help practitioners to see how to grow
from this situation and move on.

Meditations

As an ancient way to relax the mind, meditation has thousands of different variations, starting from guided meditation with an experienced coach to more sophisticated ways of observing body, mind, and emotions in dynamics. Our sessions are directed at exploring and experiencing this art, and learning how to help yourself coping with the negative states at times of need.

Sound Healing

Soundhealing

Soundhealing uses crystal and Tibetan singing bowls, drums, handpans, and more to create music and sounds that are healing for our body and mind. These sounds trigger a relaxation response in our mind, which helps us to release stress and anxiety, arriving at a state of inner balance and creating beautiful experiences at all levels.

Neurographic Art

Neurographic Art is a form of artistic expression (drawing) designed to stimulate or engage the brain in a way that promotes neuroplasticity (growth
of new neural connections). This technique allows to decrease inner tension and conflict, helping find a way out of problematic circumstances practitioners face.

Meditate at home

Access Consciousness

Access Consciousness session allows practitioners to change their destructive thoughts and feelings to get out of negative states and patterns of behaviour. Using hands-on techniques on special points on the head, our coaches help release tension, often caused by physical or emotional trauma, from the body of practitioners, helping them to come to a state of focus and a better understanding of themselves.

Reiki Treatment

Reiki

Rooted in ancient Buddhist traditions, reiki allows practitioners to access higher spiritual energy of themselves – "rei-ki". By experiencing, learning to feel, observe, and absorb this energy from within, practitioners access a disease-free state of being.

Himalayan Kriya Yoga

Kriya Yoga is a transformative practice aimed at awakening our true state of being. By working with the body, breathing, and incorporating elements of “Nada yoga” (sound), practitioners experience calibration of energy at all levels, which leads to enhanced
levels of freedom, joy, and vitality.

Support Circles 

Under the guidance of experienced mentors, community practices at KAIVALYA empower individuals to find emotional equilibrium amidst adversity and develop mental resilience. Support Circles is a safe and comfortable space, where participants can share their deepest thoughts and feelings free of judgment and receive emotional support from the group.

Art Class

Art Therapy

Art therapy workshops catalyze emotional healing and self-discovery, unlocking participants' creative potential and fostering a journey of personal growth and empowerment. This is also the way to relax and communicate with like-minded people after a hard
working week.

  • Women participants reported a strong increase in their mood and general well-being level, feeling more calm, balanced, and able to navigate through life's challenges with grace, as well as improved their physical conditions.
